Decameron Project
DECAMERON "Ten Days in 100 Novellas" is an international project managed by Colossus Ry Finland .
The first part of it includes 33 international bands covering the first 33 novels of the Decameron by Boccaccio. The compilation released on 22.12.2011 on MUSEA Rec. France, FGBG 4875, a 4 CDs-Box.
My entry to this project is a song called "Alberto Of Bologna", it is the tenth tale and a 3rd track on the CD 2. Track list and order

The Tangent - solo COMMpetition
My solo has won in the final stage of the competition - it is featured as a special guest's solo on the Tangent's actual release COMM (InsideOut Rec. ).
From the band's press release on the solo competition:
"huge congratulations to Andrew Roussak who has been chosen by hundreds of Tangent fans to have his piano/synth solo included on the Tangent's new album COMM. His solo will be part of the 20 minute prog epic "The Wiki Man" which is the first track on the album. You can still see the final 10 soloists at www.thetangent.org. A huge thank you to all of the amazing musicians who took part. "
WitchHouse got new keys!
Nach einer ergolgreichen Bandprobe am 27.05.2011 bin ich bei WitchHouse - einer Rock Coverband aus Kehl, OG eingestiegen. Die Konzerttermine folgen. Es freut mich sehr, die Klassiker wie Highway Star, Stairway To Heaven, Hush wieder on-stage zu spielen!

Grand Piano Extravaganza
Grand Piano Extravaganza is out on MUSEA Rec. France!
This 2 CDs set is a wonderful concept album based on the Omero's epic poem Iliad ( the Trojan War ). 12 pianists from around the globe have participated, each one with two original compositions of his own. My compositions ( book 6, book 8 ) are the tracks 8 and 10 of the first CD.

I am happy to become a part of the international project "Songs For Haiti - Relief Through Music".

Helping Haiti With The Gift Of Music
All Proceeds from the sale of this release will be donated To Charity
On Tuesday January 12th, 2010 an earthquake, a magnitude of 7.0 devastates Haiti. We immediately knew that we had to reach to help all those in need. It has been wonderful to see the outpouring of love and donations for the relief of Haitians through various ways. This helped with the immediate need of basics like food water and some medical needs.
That said, we see a much bigger picture that needs to be addressed, the welfare of the children the homeless, the rehabilitation for those that lost limbs and the rebuilding of a nations infrastructure ie; hospitals schools roads and so on.
So we reached out to our brothers and sisters in the music community to help us with this cause. Within minutes of reaching out we started receiving music for our upcoming release “Songs for Haiti – Relief Through Music” the final outcome is 2 hours of music on a 2 CD set that will be available through many fine digital retailers. Many of the songs were written specifically for this release while other songs were unreleased track or song that were just donated to help raise money for Haiti.
Featuring more than 30 tracks by artists such as Katia Cadet a Grammy nominated song writer, IO Earth nominated for several 2010 Progressive Rock Awards as well as many fine national and independent musicians from around the world.
Melodic Revolution Records is proud to announce that all proceeds will be donated to Music for Relief for relief efforts in Haiti. Our goal and hope is that "Songs for Haiti " will help bring some relief to the people of Haiti. This project has been a labor of love by not only myself but our musicians, artist and others involved in this release.
